Course Content

• Needle and thimble coordinations

• Extensive range of hand stitches

  (Basting stitch, mark stitch, prick stitch, cross stitch, felling stitch, blind stitch, saddle stitch, padding stitch, chain stitch, stoat stitch, drawing stitch, half-back stitch, back stitch) 

• Making various styles of pockets

  (Welt pocket, jetted pocket with flap, in-breast pocket, single jetted trousers pocket, single jetted hip pocket,)

• Making buttonholes

• How to attach a zipper fly

• How to make a waistband, belt loops and a daks waistband  

  
  

Course Delivery

SRBA’s training programme is delivered in customised training facilities on the premises of Maurice Sedwell. Ltd, 9-10 Savile Row, 1st floor London. The instructor for this course is Maurice Sedwell’s Master Tailor, Judith Ekblom. SRBA will only admit a small number of students for each course to enable each trainee to receive a high degree of individual coaching from their instructor.

Course duration : 6 weeks

Time schedules : Tuesdays ~ Thursdays / 6:00pm ~ 9:oopm (*The time schedule may slightly change.)

Cost

£1,200 (including 20% VAT + materials) 

* Exclusive for Summer Course students : £1,000 (including 20% VAT + materials)

(All the equipment is provided to use in the classroom.)
