The Savile Row Bespoke Academy Advanced Course in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting starts each September. The course is a modular programme of advanced study modules including; pattern drafting, cloth cutting, fitting and remarking; Waistcoat making; Trouser making; Coat making. Students will complete one three-piece suit and successful trainees will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate.

Course Delivery

SRBA’s training programme is delivered in customised training facilities on the premises of Maurice Sedwell. Ltd, 9-10 Savile Row, 1st floor London. The instructors are all experienced bespoke tailors, who have trained and worked under the Academy’s Principal Andrew M Ramroop OBE.

SRBA will only admit a small number of students for each course to enable each trainee to receive a high degree of individual coaching from their instructor.

Certificate

Trainees who complete all of the modules to the required standards will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate.

2024 Dates

Course duration : 39 weeks excluding holidays

Dates : 9th September 2024 (Monday) ~ 10th July 2025 (Thursday).

Time schedule : Mondays ~ Thursdays / 9:30am ~ 4:30pm

Students will also be permitted to use the classrooms for unsupervised practice on Fridays.

(*The academy is closed on UK national holidays, and there are 2 weeks of Christmas holiday and 3 weeks of mid-term break.)

Cost

The cost of this full time course is £22,000 and includes 20% VAT, all required materials and equipment.

UK citizens are eligible for 15% discount before tax.

Application is by competitive interview and if you are shortlisted for this course, we will arrange to interview you by video call or in person at the Academy.

Applications are now being invited with interviews beginning in January and offers of a place by April. If all places are filled, qualifying candidates will be put on a waiting list and, where appropriate, late applications will be reviewed.
